Maximilien Luce: The Instinct for Landscape
Through a carefully selected body of work, the exhibition explores Luce's lifelong and instinctive relationship with landscape — from the industrial outskirts of Paris to the luminous countryside of the Meuse valley and the rugged coastlines of Brittany. His distinctive Pointillist technique, combined with a raw sensitivity to light and atmosphere, gives his landscapes a vibrant, almost physical energy.
The show offers visitors a rare opportunity to trace the evolution of Luce's vision across different periods and regions, revealing an artist as attuned to the rhythms of nature as he was to the social realities of his time.
