in situ: Igshaan Adams. Unsettling Dust: The Body's Archive
Unsettling Dust: The Body's Archive positions the body as a repository of accumulated experience — a living archive shaped by ritual, labor, and the traces left by those who came before. The exhibition unfolds in direct dialogue with its host space, responding to the architecture and histories embedded within it.
Adams's practice draws on the spiritual and physical gestures of his Cape Flats upbringing, weaving together materials and memories into works that are at once intimate and monumental.
