Tatiana Bilbao Estudio: Architecture from Outside In was presented at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA) in 2021. The exhibition offered an in-depth look at the work of Tatiana Bilbao and her Mexico City-based studio, whose projects range from social housing and urban planning to cultural institutions and private residences.

The show examined the studio's distinctive methodology — one that prioritizes the needs and voices of the people who will inhabit its buildings, as well as the natural and social landscapes that surround them. Rather than imposing a singular aesthetic vision, Tatiana Bilbao Estudio works from the outside in, letting context, community, and environment shape architectural form.

Through drawings, models, photographs, and multimedia installations, visitors were invited to engage with the studio's process and philosophy, gaining insight into how architecture can serve as a tool for social equity and environmental sensitivity.
