As part of the thematic cluster "Familie" (Family), a rotating display on the subject of language families has been installed. The manuscripts on show illustrate the remarkable linguistic diversity of the finds from the Turfan Expeditions. Languages represented include, among others, those belonging to the Indo-European language family.
