Poetics of Encryption
17 Feb 2024 — 25 May 2024 at KW Institute for Contemporary Art
· Berlin
Poetics of Encryption is a group exhibition curated by Nadim Samman, originally presented at KW Institute for Contemporary Art, Berlin, in 2024.
The show brings together artists whose practices engage with encryption, concealment, and the poetics of hidden or coded meaning — examining how secrecy, data, and language intersect in contemporary life. Through a range of media and approaches, the works invite viewers to consider what it means to encode and decode, to reveal and withhold, in an age of pervasive surveillance and digital communication.
