Solo show
No Sound of Water
12 Nov 2021 — 15 May 2022 at Arte Abierto
No Sound of Water is a solo exhibition by Troika, the London-based artist collective known for their rigorous and poetic investigations into science, nature, and human perception. Presented at Arte Abierto Foundation in Mexico City in 2021, the show brings together works that probe the boundaries between the visible and the invisible, the measurable and the felt.
Troika — comprised of Eva Rucki, Sebastien Noel, and Conny Freyer — creates installations, sculptures, and conceptual works that challenge our understanding of reality and the systems we use to interpret it. In this exhibition, the collective turns its attention to water as a metaphor and material absence: its silence, its hidden presence, and the traces it leaves behind.
No Sound of Water invites visitors to engage with a world just beyond the threshold of ordinary sense — where what cannot be heard or seen becomes the subject of quiet, sustained contemplation.
