The Roger Raveel Museum presents a solo exhibition by Narcisse Tordoir, titled "Time Without Future". Tordoir, one of Belgium's most compelling contemporary artists, brings together a body of work that probes the nature of time — not as a forward-moving force, but as something suspended, arrested, or stripped of its promise.
Known for his layered, often unsettling imagery that blends figuration with abstraction, Tordoir constructs visual environments in which familiar signs and symbols are displaced from their usual contexts. In this exhibition, that sensibility is turned toward the question of temporality: what remains when the future is no longer a horizon to move toward?
