Life Between Buildings
2 Jun 2022 — 16 Jan 2023 at MoMA PS1
· New York City
Life Between Buildings was a 2022 exhibition presented at MoMA PS1, New York. Taking its name from the influential urban design concept, the show examined the social, cultural, and artistic dimensions of the spaces that exist between built structures — the streets, courtyards, thresholds, and informal gathering places that shape everyday life.
The exhibition brought together works that reflect on how people inhabit, navigate, and transform the spaces between buildings, inviting visitors to reconsider the overlooked margins of the urban landscape as sites of creativity, community, and meaning.
