The first part offers a sweeping survey of Modernism in Ukraine 1900–1930, bringing to light a vibrant and often overlooked chapter of European avant-garde history. The works on display reveal the richness and diversity of Ukrainian artistic production during a period of intense cultural transformation.
Alongside this historical survey, the exhibition features new work by contemporary artist Daria Koltsova, whose practice enters into dialogue with the modernist legacy and reflects on questions of identity, memory, and cultural continuity in Ukraine today.
