de vertical, devenir horizontal, etale brings together the work of choreographer and artist Emmanuelle Huynh and visual artist Jocelyn Cottencin in a shared exhibition space. The show takes its title from a meditation on states of being — the vertical stance, the horizontal drift, the slack or still — inviting visitors to consider how bodies, forms, and meanings shift between these conditions.

Through a dialogue of visual art, installation, and performance-rooted practice, Huynh and Cottencin trace the passage from one state to another: from standing to lying, from tension to release, from movement to rest. The exhibition unfolds as a poetic and spatial conversation between two distinct yet complementary artistic sensibilities.
