Deception Island

Deception Island is a solo exhibition by Troika, on view at max goelitz in Munich, Germany, in 2025. Known for their rigorous yet poetic investigations into perception, systems, and the nature of reality, the London-based collective continues to push the boundaries between art and ideas. The show takes its name from the volcanic island in Antarctica — a place of dramatic contrasts and hidden depths — a fitting metaphor for Troika's practice, which consistently challenges what we see and what we think we know.
