This collection presentation at the Museum van Hedendaagse Kunst Antwerpen (M HKA) brings together works by the art collective Slavs and Tatars, whose practice spans books, textiles, installations, and lectures. The show draws from their ongoing project Friendship of Nations: Polish Shi'ite Showbiz, a body of work that investigates the surprising and often overlooked connections between Polish Catholicism, Shi'ite Islam, and the broader cultural landscape stretching between Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
