Code Switch: Distributing Blackness, Reprogramming Internet Art is a 2024 exhibition presented at the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture. The show examines the intersections of Blackness, technology, and digital creativity, exploring how Black artists and communities have influenced, challenged, and transformed the landscape of internet art. Through a range of digital and media-based works, the exhibition interrogates the politics of visibility, identity, and representation in online spaces, while celebrating the innovative ways in which Black cultural expression has been distributed and amplified across digital networks.
