Close Enough: New Perspectives from 12 Women Photographers of Magnum
30 Sep 2022 — 9 Jan 2023 at International Center of Photography
· New York
Close Enough brings together twelve women photographers from Magnum Photos, one of the world's most celebrated photographic agencies, to present a bold and intimate survey of contemporary image-making.
The exhibition showcases a diverse range of voices and visions, from documentary reportage to deeply personal projects, challenging conventional ideas about what photography can capture and how close a photographer can get — physically and emotionally — to their subject.
Spanning work produced between 2022 and 2023, the show offers a rare opportunity to experience the breadth and depth of female perspectives within one of photography's most storied institutions.
