City as Subjectivity is a 2024 exhibition that invites artists and audiences to reconsider the urban environment as something deeply personal and experiential. Rather than treating the city as a neutral stage or a collection of architectural facts, the works on view approach it as a space shaped by individual perception, memory, emotion, and identity.
Through a range of media and perspectives, the exhibition asks: what does a city feel like from the inside? How do its streets, rhythms, and textures become part of who we are? The result is a layered portrait of urban life that is as much about the people who inhabit cities as the cities themselves.
