Ara Harutyunyan. From Komitas to Komitas

29 Jan 2021 — 1 Jun 2021 at Komitas Museum · Yerevan
A temporary exhibition at the Komitas Museum-Institute, this show brings together works by Armenian artist Ara Harutyunyan in a deeply personal dialogue with the legacy of Komitas — the revered Armenian composer, musicologist, and priest whose life and music continue to resonate across generations.

Through his art, Harutyunyan traces a path from the world of Komitas back to Komitas himself, exploring themes of memory, identity, and cultural heritage that lie at the heart of Armenian spiritual and artistic life.
